Kenny Lawler

From an early age in the mid 80's, Kenny was always heavily influenced and enticed by electronic sounds, repetitive beats and melodic synth pads. His first ever record purchased was Krush "House Arrest". Introduced to the underground club scene in 1992 he has been following deep house, progressive house, techno and electronic sounds ever since he was a regular at Cream from 1995. Then later at the infamous Liverpool underground night, "Alderaan" which was a night of proper underground Techno and Prog House. Mostly dj'ing at parties with friends, later spending time promoting a night in Liverpool called "Aztec" at the Lemon Lounge, The Masque (original home of Circus) and the home of Cream, Nation, in Liverpool. Aztec brought in some great djs such as Hernan Catteneo, Lee Burridge, Danny Howells and Phil Hartnol of Orbital fame to name a few. His biggest influences include, Detroit Fiend, Steve Parry, John Digweed, Sasha, Mr. C, Anthony Pappa, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, Nick Muir, Sam Monie, plus many, many more.. He hosts his own radio show on the 2nd Friday of every month on Saturo Sounds and has not long started his music production journey, with hopefully one or two releases forthcoming in the future...his shows are a mix of emotive and building journeys, with always an eclectic tinge. His view on music is simple - In the distance, through the music, we become closer.
