GER LEO

GER LEO began his Dj career back in 1996 after picking up his first set of decks at the tender age of 14. Being too young to gain entry into Clubs, Ger had to sneak into venues with the sole purpose of watching & studying different dj’s to learn the fine art of djing.
After locking himself away mastering his craft at home, he grabbed his first residency in a local bar with both hands. Ger’s reputation began to grow and so did his skillset, making the transition from Technics 1210’s to CDJ’s.
After his 5 year residency came to an end, he began to play at various venues & Clubs in his hometown, Limerick City. Regular Guest slots on the radio was the norm. Before long Ger was included in line-ups of many great nights locally such as SoundLounge, PUSH, DEPTH to name a few and other events outside of the city such as Frequency (Cork) & the Burning Man Festival (Waterford).
One of Ger’s highlights was playing in The Loft at the Ministry of Sound (London) back in 2012.
Ger has shared the decks with the likes of YOUSEF, FLASHMOB and more.
A true student of the arts - Ger feels that he never stops learning. Constantly pushing boundaries, gaining inspiration from all aspects of electronica.

Frequently ranking in the Top 5 of the Mixcloud Top 100 Charts with his progressive driven sets. Ger concentrates on delivering a melodic journey from start to finish when it comes to his mixing. Believing in a set should tell a story, having a beginning, middle and an end – Ger's meticulous track selection is only paralleled by his set structures, hitting the mark with every beat.
