This Saturo Sounds 51st release, and 2-track EP from It B Like Dat, is club-tested and dance floor-approved. In his own words:
“The titular record, ‘Germline Edit’, was started in 2023 as a 16-bar loop, and there it sat for two years until it was ‘re-discovered’ on a hard drive backup. The loop triggered a lightning bolt of inspiration, and It B Like Dat finished the track in recorded time.
The second, ‘Lost Library’, was inspired by a 3OH!3 song of all things, and was created by fusing their sound with It B Like Dat’s interpretation of genre heroes: Cristoph and Eric Prydz. Germline Edit is perfect for building a spacey, hypnotic vibe, and Lost Library will hit peak time at the club with a bang.”
