At the age of 16, Tim was exploring the dance scene. The uptempo melodies of tech-trance caught his attention and a couple of years later he was spinning clubs throughout the Netherlands under his alias ‘Tim Nokx’. Also a couple of tracks, ‘Perception’ and ‘Carpe Diem’, were released on various labels and played by well-known dj’s like Paul van Dyk and Above and Beyond.
Together with his brother in law, the club concept ‘Maison de Beats’ was launched. This was a tiny house-concept within the south of the Netherlands. They invited dj’s like LaFuente, Bassjackers, Dyna and many more. A great success with many visitors.
As a dad, Tim retired his active dj life and started caring for his family. But after a couple of years, his passion for music flared up. But the higher bpm’s of trance, wasn’t a match. He finally found a mix of progressive house, melodic house, melodic techno and organic house that fits his style. In November 2022 he started making mixes again and found a new dj name ‘Toffk’.
Now Toffk is here to provide deep progressive music with great atmospheres!
