After being involved with the 90’s club scene and following the likes of Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Fatboy Slim all over the country (& World) I fell out of love with the dance music scene in the early 2000’s. Feeling that it had become too commercialised and lost its way a bit I took a back seat for a long period.
Following an invite to see Sasha @ Fabric my love of dance music has returned with a vengeance. Missing out on a 10 year period has really driven me to get involved again in a big way. Rediscovering progressive/melodic techno has reminded me that it never really went away and you just need to know where to look.
Music has always been a big part of my life. Growing up in a house where music was always on I have had lots of influence from Bob Dylan & Leonard Coen right through to Paul Simon & ABBA. I am always keen to hear about the music that moves people in one way or another and would reserve judgement till I have heard it for myself. Classical, Rock, Metal, Techno, D&B, Folk and many more are never out of the question. You never know what is going to capture your imagination.
